The diploma thesis of the library in Poprad draws up project documentation for therealization of the building. The library object is located in the wider center of Poprad, onSuchoňova Street near the MAX shopping center and the Juh housing estate in Poprad. Thearchitectural design of the building is concerned with creating spaces for students suitablefor study, relax, and later for work. There is a study-room, library, social area for studentswhere they can spend time and space for startups, where they can already develop theirbusiness skills while studying. The designer of this building faced the challenge ofdesigning an optimal solution from the point of view of architecture, statics, fire protection,fire safety, acoustics, thermal engineering and building design.The object of the library is intended primarily for students but also for people whowant to learn. In the vicinity there is a primary school, a housing estate of Juh, but also ashopping center. There is a parking house and university right in the camp, which areproposed by my classmates in one situation. Although the plot is located near the busyroad, the garage house that forms the noise filter prevents the noise from this waydegrading the quality of the environment used by the students.
