The main objective of the diploma thesis was the design of a free space solution from the reconstructed SNG in Bratislava. This space is bordered by Pauliny Street, Riečna Street, SNG and the adjacent town house. In the open space is planned another construction, which will create a new boundary and so it became part of the solution. The planned continuation of construction will be part of the eastern façade of the proposed building. This solution takes into account the historical, urban and architectural surroundings. The surroundings into which the proposed object enters is very overexposed. For this reason, the overall expression of a building is derived from this surroundings so that it naturally fits and does not excel in a new expression. The main objective of the proposal is to interconnect respectively connect to the front entrance of the SNG, located on the northern side of the water barracks. Another task is to push the concentration of people from Hviezdoslav Square to the main entrance of the SNG, which can not be seen from the square. Therefore, the object creates its orientative points respectively edges that are visible from the top and bottom of Pauline Street and too from Hviezdoslav Square, because Pauline Street begins and ends right on this square. At the same time, the figure created like this completes the streets and borders the proposed open space - a square that would have a multifunctional character. The object is to be the creative center of the SNG, which includes living for trainees. The apartments are part of the work areas - studios. The aim is connection and notify the main SNG input, completion respectively compactness of the building and multifunctional area.
