[Bachelor´s thesis]/ Chramec Ondrej – Technical University in Zvolen, Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Sciences. Department of Applied Ecology. – Supervisor: Ing. Igor Gallay, PhD. Degree of Professional qualification: Bachelor (Bc.). Zvolen – FEE TU in Zvolen, 2018, pages 60.The bachelor thesis is focused on the current state and the change of the territory, which was used intensively in the past but due to the different current socio-economic situation is falling. Reducing the intensity of management of these areas results in the extinction or even in changes in traditional landscape features. The result of the change in an overgrowing – secondary succcesion. Using the program ArcGis, we created maps of the secondary landscapce structure for the period of thirty years, and maps for overgrowing from 2003 and 2005, where we used the methdology by Gallayová (2008), altered on a square network, 50x50 meters. Ambiguity has been mapped in the terrain. There have been many changes in land use in the area, mainly in the loss of arable land and in the increase of permanent grassland and woody vegetation. There is a small increase in overgrowing, mainly from 0% to 1-10%. Usually, overgrowed areas are permanent grasslands. The current trend of managements are suitable for various bushes and trees, which penetrates into the environmnet, mainly it affects the permanent grasslands. People, in the cadastral area of Mýto pod Ďumbierom, who cares for their land are getting older, younger people are leaving for the work and others have no motivation to look after their land, especially for financial reasons. The current status points to the trend how will continue the change of land.
