The main goal of the bachelor´s thesis is processing and comparison of legislation on escape routes in the Slovak republic and Great Britain. The introduction of the bachelor´s thesis provides a detailed description of legislation on escape routes in the Slovak republic and Great Britain. The legislation mainly concerns technical requirements such as the number, length, width of escape routes and requirements for doors, lifts and lighting of escape routes. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on comparing the differences in the legislation of individual states, which are listed in a separate chapter. An important part of the bachelor's thesis is a bilingual dictionary of terms, which states terms from the legislation of the Slovak republic and Great Britain. The result of the comparison of legal regulations on escape routes of both states summarises differences in the content, form and visual aspects.
