This paper is aimed at tracking the course of prices of coniferous and deciduous raw-wood assortments and the development of wood market in Slovakia and Czech Republic. The main subject of this paper is analysis of the course of prices of sawlogs and pulpwood assortments. In Slovakia, spruce, fir, pine, and larch were observed form the coniferous timber species and oak, ash, and maple from the deciduous timber species. In Czech Republic, spruce, pine and oak were observed. The tracking period is from the year 2010 to 2019. The introduction of the paper is aimed at the situation on the wood market and the factors it is influenced by. The core of the paper is aimed at the analysis of the course of prices of selected raw-wood assortments in Slovakia and Czech Republic during the tracking period. The final part of the paper includes the factors, which influenced the wood market during the tracking period and the possibilities of utilization of the results of this work.
