Blanka Giertliová, PhD.; Zvolen: TU, 2020. s. 66The subject of the diploma thesis is the use of electronic banking, its characteristics and individual forms. This is banking, where clients communicate with the bank through modern communication media. The theoretical part of the work describes the banking system, its development in Slovakia, the characteristics of electronic banking and its various forms, as well as the security of these forms. The practical part deals with the analysis of electronic banking in three selected banks in Slovakia - Tatrabanka, a. s., Všeobecná úverová banka, a. s., and Slovenská sporiteľňa, a. with. Selected banks offer a wide availability of modern electronic banking services. These services are different at name from each other, but in terms of functionality they are very similar. Within the range of services offered, Tatra banka is the best, with the most forms of electronic banking in its offer. From the point of view of security, it can be stated that the analyzed banks have sufficiently secured electronic banking.
