Land consolidation is considered to be the most important institutional tool for integrated agricultural land management. After the approval of the elaborated land consolidation project, its execution is ensured by means of registration in the land register. After the terrain demarcation of the new arrangement of land ownership, the implementation of the proposed called. common facilities and measures. This stage builds access road communications andecostabilization measures to ensure optimal space organization and favorable country structural conditions for sustainable rural development. In the framework of land consolidation projects, the selected municipalities are focusing on rural and ecological aspects. In the theoretical part of the thesis we summarized the findings concerning the territorial systems of ecological stability and land consolidation. Subsequently, we characterized the district of Rimavská Sobota and in the context of closer relations selected model areas (Jesenské, Rimavské Janovce, Petrovce). In the application part of the thesis we dealt with the identification of elements of territorial systems of ecological stability defined in the documentation of the Local Territorial System of Ecological Stability for the purpose of land consolidation. We analyzed the degree of integration of these landscape-ecological aspects from the documentation of the Local Territorial System of Ecological Stability into the documentation of the General Principles of Functional Arrangement of the Territory and subsequently from the documentation of the General Principles of Functional Arrangement of Territory into the Plan of Joint Facilities and Measures. As a result of this work, we have found that in every land consolidation project the definition and subsequent implementation of ecostabilization measures for various reasons is approached in a diametrically different way.
