Bachelor thesis is targeted at comparing problematics of wood production in even-aged and close to the nature forest. Thesis contains briefly described historical development of forestry and history of managing methods. Later on thesis focuses on classic managing methods and their forms. It deals with mostly with growing forests and forest managment. Later it fouses on problematics of close to nature managing methods and mainly selective managing method. Also it investigates production of managing methods. It was divided mainly into even-aged and homogenos growth, ewen-aged and heterogenous growth and uneven-aged growth. Last step is evaluation of future development of production. Objective of this analysis was discovery of everything that we know and the conclusion was focused on things, that are object of investigation. The results are mainly found holes in problematic that we don’t know about and they might be object of investigation.
