Ing. Peter Jaloviar, PhD., Zvolen, 2020. 50 p.The aim of this diploma thesis is analysis of age structure of selected components of natural forest. The tesis consist of three parts, 15 pictures and 5 tables. In the first chapter we covered basic concept and definitions. The first chapter is divided into the three subchapters. In this subchapter we focused on a brief description of the species of the spruce norway and than we described his ecological requirements and the area of distribution in the Slovak republic and also in the world. In the second subchapter we discussed the issue of the natural forest, their development cycle and occurrence in the Slovak republic. We focused in more details on the natural forest of 7th stages of the forest vegetation. At the end of this subchapter we described polycyklic stands. Second chapter defines main goal and partial objectives. In the third chapter we describe methods of investigation and methodological approaches. The fourth chapter is the largest part of the thesis and contains the final result of our research. From the performed measuerments on the stands 526 and 527 on the twenty research plots we summarized the results. At the end of this chapter we performed the correlation analysis to evaluate the relation between the thickness and the age of top layer trees.
