The aim of my bachelor thesis is a vision for a modern library, which does not consider physically present books, but challenging to connect the digital world with the cultural world. The space of the library is small but in fact, it can be culturally very rich, with the help of electronic devices, tablets. It has access from one place to all information of the world. I chose the smallest part of the organic world, which we still consider as living organisms. The cell serves me a good association to the library, which today may be quite tiny and in fact can be the largest in the world. Also as one, single cell. It is small, but with the generation of the right commands from DNA and their reproduction, it transforms the cells into fabric which are forming the organs which create life. Therefore I called the selected space the Cell of Knowledge. The interior design has a comprehensive space solution, a new type of library for the residents of Budapest, Hungary. My intention in the design is to make the interior through design a useful, shaping and spreading culture even in modern consciousness.
