The diploma thesis deals with the problems related to the accessibility of forests through the paths in the area of urban forests Tisovec. The main goal is to analyze the present situation of the accessibility of forests of chosen area and set the optimal solution to improve the conditions of forest transportation net of the area of urban forests Tisovec. First part of thesis is focused on theoretical aspects of the accessibility of forests and basic parameters of effectiveness of forest transportation nets and their purpose. The areas of interests and their natural conditions are being characterized in thesis. The present state of forest transportation net is being analyzed through the density and distance of the roads, approach distances and the effectiveness of forest transportation net. The thesis analyses the current state of damage of urban paths, the slope ratios and the usefulness of urban paths in the area of urban forest Tisovec. In the end of the thesis there are suggestions how to improve the current state of accessing of forest in relationship with mining transport technologies used at analyzed area. There is a chance to optimize the forest transportation net by applying suitable solutions that are suggested in thesis and improve the accessibility of vegetation and the state of forest net as well. This optimization is possible only with sufficient financial resources and appropriate care of managers for allocated tangible property.
