The subject of the bachelor's thesis "Solution of fire safety of multistorey woodenbuilding" is to clarify the issues in the field of multistorey wooden buildings in the SlovakRepublic and abroad from the design and material aspect. To acquaint yourself withrequirements and methodology of solving fire safety of multistorey wooden buildings inSlovakia in according to current regulations and with legislation. The aim of the work is todevelop a solution for fire safety of buildings for a specific multistorey wooden building andto evaluate the results. The results show that evacuation in wooden buildings can be safeeven with a new mixed structural unit. To ensure safe evacuation, we cannot do without theuse of non-combustible materials. The conclusion thesis showed that wooden buildings arenot equal fire, but they are as safe as brick or prefabricated buildings.
