In the diploma thesis we have devoted to fire safety of building and people ´s evacuation from the building. Firstly we have theoretically refered to demands which the building must have for safe using. We have informed about the possibilities of people ´s evacuation and conditions of different kinds of emergency exits. We have also devoted to the possibilities of using simulative programmes and basic types of people´s evacuation. The methodology was focused to information about building´s construction and the way of using it, too. We have explained how to advance in proposal of simulation and required conditions for entering parameters to the simulation programme. The end of the thesis we have devoted to the calculation of PBS focused on calculation of evacuation, evaluation of chosen simulation programe and comparing of results of these methods. The process of simulation has showed us the weakness of emergency exits of the building. Then after making necessary adjustments we have obtained the results which are accorded to valid legislation.
