The aim of the bachelor thesis is to point out the importance of using quality methods in a selected business entity. The work consists of four, logically consecutive parts. The first part contains definitions of basic terms, a brief history of the subject matter, activities, concepts and principles of quality management and a description of statistical quality control. The second part is focused on the characteristics of chosen organization Green Eden, Ltd. and analysis of the current state and approach to quality issues. The third part was created with the intention of analysing a specific company and its potential in the process of quality improvement through the use of methods and tools such as Correlation Diagram, Pareto Analysis and Cause and Effect Diagram. The bachelor thesis concludes with the last part, the content of which is the evaluation of the results from the previous part and the subsequent design of appropriate measures to eliminate organization´s quality problems and ensure the continuity of the process of quality improvement in the organization.
