In this diploma thesis there are briefly characterized natural conditions and certain characteristics of river flow of torrent Kltipoch. There were established 25 experimental sections (PÚ) and 25 experimental flow profiles (PP) on the investigated torrent Kltipoch. Hydraulic characteristics such as degree of roughness, longitudinal slope, velocity coefficient, average profile velocity and geometric characteristics - width of the riverbed in the banks B (m), width of the bottom b (m), height of the flow profile H (m), area of the flow profile Spp (m2). The aim of this work was the analysis of relations between basic geometrical characteristics of experimental PP as width of the riverbed in the banks, height of the flow profile, flow through the full flow profile Qk (m3.s-1), content of the flow profile and the area of the sub-basin Sčp (km2). Based on the obtained results and the determined equation of hydraulic geometry, close dependences between the observed characteristics were found, on the basis of which the solutions were proposed in the process of care for the monitored flow and the Kltipoch stream basin.
