The aim of our diploma thesis with theme „The Use of selected methods and tools for improving the quality in selected enterprise“, is based on theoretical knowledge to clarify the methods and tools of quality management and then apply the appropriate tools of quality management in the selected company. The thesis contains six chapters and is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part we deal with knowledge about quality, quality management, the international organization ISO, the method of quality improvement Six Sigma and characterize selected tools for quality improvement. The practical part of the thesis contains the characteristics of the chosen company, system of the quality management of this company and the application of selected quality tools in solving the problems of the company. At the end of the thesis, we evaluated the results and proposed measures to ensure the ongoing improvement of the quality in the company.
