The master thesis on the topic Adaptation of Industrial Buildings for New Functions focuses on the use of acquired spatial experiences from abroad. The proposal is inspired by a concept that includes the spatial segmentation of unused industrial halls, for the purpose of sharing new, multiple services with a similar idea. The proposal therefore represents a full use of the excessive space for current demand and market needs. The first part of the work dealt with the transfer of the concept to the local environment, in the form of creating a new identity coworking center in the industrial zone of Lučenec. The proposed solution shows partial architectural modifications, while respecting the existing interior elements, which complete the spirit of the place. The work reflects the transformation of degraded buildings, which we can save on the verge of devastation with a suitable approach. The resulting author's design also draws attention to the essence of the visual simplicity of the means of expression. It provides a feeling of a well-organized and quiet place to work in the shared areas of the Coworking center.
