Foreign-trade policy instruments (Bachelor Thesis). The work deals with foreign policy instruments with an emphasis on restrictive measures (sanctions and embargoes) and the entities that impose them. The current events in the world are analyzed, with an evaluation of the positive and negative consequences of the steps. The information is drawn from credible and official sources. The results of the analysis show that restrictions are important in terms of changing behavior or stimulating the country to which they are applied, but it is very important to ensure these three things, namely to have allies with the same goal, willingness to enforce them with all partners and incentives to negotiate. Failure to comply with these rules does not have a sufficient effect and their effect is unsuccessful and countries are able to deal with them and reorient themselves to other markets.
