In this work, we were focused on evaluating phenological phases of taxons Vaccinium myrtillus and Senecio. The research was made in climax spruce stands in research plot, Červenec, in Western Tatras,1420 meters above the sea. For our monitoring we used phenological cameras. We also appraised essential climate requirements ( temperature, precipitation) for mentioned taxons. Monitoring was made from April 2019 to October 2019. For a last few decades we are witnesses of climate change. Phenology helps us to predict these changes, due to this fact, we consider this work as a neccessary. Time lapse of phenological phases inform us about variable climate factors, which have impact on sectors such as agriculture, forestry, medicine, etc. In our paper, we evaluated phenological phases process of mentioned taxons, and growing degree days ( GDD) important for beginning, and end of phase. We compared growing degree dates from 2019 with a long term average from years 1988-2017. Afterwards, we analyzed average daily temperatures during the year 2019 with long term average 1988-2017. Phenophase, fully budding, of Vaccinium myrtillus was on 26.4.2019. The observation finished by phenophase leaf drop, which was on 26.10.2019. In taxon Senecio, we started the observation on 24.5. 2019 with phenophase, leaves fallen. Spotting finished with phenophase leaves fallen, on 28.10.2019. We also found out changes in GGD during the years and temperature changes, Detailed results are utilized in graphs and tables.
