The bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of fire alarms in the shopping center. A fire alarm is used to increase the safety of shopping center operation before a fire. The obligation is to equip the shopping center with a fire alarm. This obligation is imposed by the Decree of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic 94/2004 Coll. § 88 which lays down technical requirements for fire safety during construction and use of buildings. The result of the evaluation is one fire alarm control panel, 322 fire detectors, of which 269 are optical smoke detectors and 53 temperature detectors. The highly sensitive Titanus suction detection system, voice fire alarm control panel and 37 loudspeakers are used, of which 30 are ceiling loudspeakers and 7 pressure loudspeakers. The service of the fire alarm system is performed in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic 726/2002 Coll. The facts correspond to the legal regulations.
