The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to summarize general analysis, basic information in the field of conflagration origin and its causes as well as exact description of chosen wood burning methods and processes. Subsequently, the author analyzes and creates searches from literature sources which are focused on measuring the speed of burning as well as thickness of charred wood layer. The end of this bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of information that ranges from a few seconds to minutes, increasing the thickness of the muscular layer. Everything depends on the source and effect of thermal degradation.
