The bachelor thesis deals whith the survey of the wooden construction of a log house in the village of Lendak. It is divided into two thematic parts. The first part describes the development of the dwelling house and characterizes the procedures for building the construction pf folk buildings in the past in the region of northern Spiš. The first part mentions the typical damages of wooden elements in folk buildings and the diagnosis of these damages by non-destructive sensory and instrumental methods. The second part deals whith the analysis of the selected wooden structure in the village of Lendak. The most frequent damage in the timber structure was the gutters and trip openings after the blower and trellis, surface damage due to algae and weathering of the beams.
