The presented diploma thesis deals with the potentials of the development of agrotourism within the Muránska Planina National Park. In the theoretical part, we focused on the characteristics of the area and the currently proposed zonation, which can significantly affect the lives of people in this region. In the practical part of the work, we focused on elaborating a project focused on rural tourism and suport possibilities for agritourism development potential in the area. Part of the proposal to increase the attractiveness of the site is the design of an educational route, reconstruction and completion of the amenities of the Agrofarma Dianiška and the proposal of an itinerary for potential visitors. We also pointed out the negative phenomena in the country and proposed partial solutions, as well as evaluated the potential risks, along with the positives of the proposed project using a SWOT analysis. The conclusion of the thesis is dealing with the elaboration of the competitive analysis and identification of risks and their elimination.
