Laura Amgwerdová: Assessing of the impact of introduced alpine chamois from a perspective of nature protection.Diploma thesis. Andrea Lešová, Ph.D., Zvolen 2021, 40 pp. The task of my diploma thesis was primarily the elaboration of a literary research on the introduction of animals into the territory of the Slovak Republic. Listing of individual species of the animals that were introduced into our territory, its specified species and the year of introduction. In the next section is detailed description of the distribution of the alpine chamois in our territory and associated with it the problems of the specified species. Detailed description of its ecological requirements in the specified area of its introduction. Its detailed biology such as its morphology, size and body structure, colour of fur,weight of each sex and its other basic features. Behaviour in the specified environment into which it was introduced. Its abundance outside the growing season, but also at the time of reproduction. Its food requirements,etc win the last point on this basis is an assessment of the impact of the chamois on the specified environment in which it was artificially placed. Its impact on natural vegetation with an impact on the environment in which it lives. Also its impact to other species of animals occurring in the given area of its distribution in our country, specifically in the Low Tatras.
