The bachelor thesis deals with firefighting and extinguishing forest fires in the hard-to-reach forest terrain. The work includes a description of technique and technical resources used in practice together with a description of characteristics, division, the occurrence of forest fire, and transport of fire to the location of intervention. The purpose of the tactical exercise in the last part of the bachelor thesis was focused on long-distance transport by hose line for eliminating forest fire in the available hard location in cooperation with more volunteer fire services of the municipality. We determined the number of forces and resources needed to extinguish forest fire by a specific example.
