The bachelor thesis Assessment of environmental damage deals with the description of risk management and with processes and methods of risk management. The main subject of the bachelor thesis is the characteristics, assessments and solutions of current environmental risks and damages in the Slovak Republic. The opening part defines the concept of risk, deals with environmental management, the environment and describes the environmental damages. The second, practical part describes the methods and procedures of environmental damage assessment. At the end, the thesis contains an example of environmental risk, as well as an analytical evaluation of the processed information and a summary of the subsequent recommendation. The knowledge presented in the bachelor's thesis implies the necessary need to pay increased attention to environmental protection and in this has an important and irreplaceable mission and environmental risk management.
