MIKULOVÁ, P. 2021. Migration crisis – its reasons and impacts to Europe`s security: bachelor thesis. Zvolen: Technical University in Zvolen. Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology. 2021 The bachelor thesis focuses coping with problems arising from migration crisis and its development as in Slovak Republic as in Europe. First, the security principles in general are described in the thesis, the security strategy of the Slovak Republic. In this part of the thesis, there is also introduced the migration, its reasons and development, completed with migration classification. We found that the reasons for migration differs. We can also find the information on legal and illegal migration history. In the thesis is also introduced the main objective, i.e. the analysis of current situation related to migration and development of prognoses of its further development. In the experimental part, there is introduced the basic characteristics of the European Union and the Slovak Republic. To meet the declared objectives of the thesis, we applied the following scientific methods: knowledge synthesis and summarising and historical method. At the end of the bachelor thesis, the results of statistical review on legal and illegal migration in the Slovak Republic for specific period are introduced. We also introduced the impact of migration crisis to security of the Slovak Republic and European Union, but also the security risks/threats related to migration, e.g. terrorism and criminality growth. There are also introduced the specific examples of those risks impacts.
