The task of the Bachelor's thesis was to solve the architectural-construction design of a residential building with underground garage and multipurpose zone, situated in the area of Bratislava - Old Town. The project is documenting functional, material, aesthetic and design solution of the apartment building. The aim of this work is a project for building implementation and preparation of documents for planning permission, with lists of individual structural elements, thermal assessment of fragments, filling holes and assessment of critical details on the minimum surface temperature according to STN 73 0540-2012. Also I consider the profitability of solutions in terms of heat savings. The apartment building is designed as one-sectional with five floors above ground and one underground floor for the function of the garage. Ground floor has designed wheelchair access and acts as multifunctional space . The apartment building has 12 residential units consisting of 3 - room apartments smaller area , 3 - room apartments larger area and one-room flats. The bearing system is designed as a monolithic skeleton with a non-bearer ceilling, and combined system in basement. Vertical communication is ensured by stairs or elevator system. Roofing of residential building is designed as a flat roof with reverse order of the layers. Circumferential masonry infill and monolithic columns are insulated by contact insulating system based on mineral wool coated with silicate plaster. The role of the residential building is to ensure functional, comfortable and long-term housing for medium-to large families.
