In this Bachelor's thesis we present a summary of information, which provide a closer look on the matter of static structural design of the roof trusses. The basic principles of designing and construction of carpentry joints used in roof truss production. An overview of the typology of fasteners used in roof trusses with illustrative pictures. The second part talks about the design of important nodes of the truss using thin-walled steel sheet profiles. That is followed by a calculation of carrying capacity of the Gerber and truss connectors. At the end of the thesis an evaluation of the calculations performed is given.
