Milk, a food that everyone knows, some love, others hate. It is one of those foods, that is associated with perhaps the most controversial views and widespread myths – at present day mainly on the Internet. The presented bachelor thesis deals with the processing of a complex view of milk. It consists of two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part clarifies the findings, that characterize milk in terms of its history, describes the views of various authors on the topic of milk, explains the basic concepts, emphasizes the main and complementary components of milk, examines the negative impacts of milk on the human body and reveals myths about milk. The practical part is focused on collecting and creating designs of the sample laboratory experiments. According to the time schedule of the lesson, the experiments also include various additional activities, tasks and actions to streamline work in the laboratory and to develop higher cognitive functions in students, such as information processing, working with information and the Internet, imagination and also decision-making. The basic method, that has been used, is an inquiry-based method, "Establish". These templates can later be used as teaching aids for students and teachers of primary, secondary or higher education within the science subjects.
