ČERVIENKOVÁ MEŇUŠOVÁ, Kristína: Development of motivation over time – Technical University in Zvolene, The Department of Business Economics. Tutor of Diploma thesis : doc. Ing. Miloš Hitka, PhD. Zvolen: TU, 2020, 82 p.The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the development of the level of motivation in Slovakia, specifically to compare the required state of perception of individual motivational factors and the actual state. The results of the comparison of the two conditions show that there are differences in the perception of motivational factors by Slovak employees. In the case of the required situation, the perception of the given factors influencing motivation changed during the analyzed years 2009 to the current year 2020, but it can be said that they maintained relatively similar values in each year and there were no significant changes. We found the largest increase in the case of two motivational factors, namely a fair evaluation of the employee and the basic salary. In the actual situation, the results show us that in the range of nine years, which is 2012 to 2020, the values also did not change significantly. The only slight increase in the average occurred with the motivational factor working time. A comparison of the development between the required state and the actual state showed us that the individual averages of the required state increased upwards every year, and in the real state it was just the opposite, where the averages had a decreasing tendency.
