The business plan can be seen as an essential prerequisite for the successful restructuring and innovation of each company. The aim of the thesis was to prepare a business plan for the company PROVYS, spol. s r.o., which operates in the market of telecommunications equipment and has recently seen a decline in demand for its products. Against this background, it has decided to expand into the market of security systems, which requires a precise business plan. The plan presented by us analyzes all facts that will influence the expansion of the company into a new market and expansion of its portfolio. The key segment is the financial-economic analysis, on the basis of which the values of the criteria of decision-making were quantified (profitability index, net present value, internal rate of return and return on equity). Based on information from the results of the financial-economic analysis, we can state that the business plan presented by us has the potential to solve the current difficult situation of the company.
