The work deals with memorial, historical and protected trees in the Sobrance district. The aim of the work is to bring the current state of protected memorial and historical trees in the Sobrance district and their subsequent comparison of the current state with the past based on their biometric data. We mapped 16 species of trees. The work includes analysis of problems, history of tree protection, protection of protected trees, declaration of protected trees, marking and care of protected trees. The work includes the aim, the methodology, the material of the work and the description of the work in the field. The final part analyzes the results of the work and approximates the occurrence and current status of memorial, historical and protected trees in the district.
