GROCKÝ, Norbert: Evaluation of the efficiency of track tractor FIAT 505C SUPER during the arch skidding in educational forest harvestings. [BA thesis]. Technical University in Zvolen. Faculty of Forestry; Department of Forest Harvesting, Logistics and Soil/Land Ameliorations. Supervisor: Ing. Michal Allman, PhD. - Zvolen: LF TUZVO, 2020. 50pp. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe and evaluate the efficiency of track tractor FIAT 505C SUPER during arch skidding. The theoretical part of this thesis is primarily concerned with the basic terminology in the process of forest harvesting and transport, characteristics of natural and production conditions in Slovakia, the historical development of tractor technologies in Czechoslovakia, and subsequently is concerned with the tractor technologies used in Slovakia in the present. The practical part of this thesis evaluates the efficiency of tract tractor FIAT 505C SUPER during arch skidding on the basis of provided data and performed measurements. The first part consists of the evaluation of the daily efficiency of this tractor. Further follows the evaluation of efficiency based on the measurements performed during the two different operations of this tractor, namely random forest harvesting, and educational forest harvesting. This thesis describes the usability of listed technology, technological possibilities of deployment, and efficiency of technology in educational forest harvestings of flysch zone. The achieved results may bring valuable information usable in a forestry operation.
