The diploma thesis deals with the importance and impact of interior design on the psyche of the person who inhabits it. The work analyzes this relationship of disturbing factors and their triggers and strong impact on us. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to achieve mental purification and harmony through the proposed design. The importance of relaxation and its impact on a person's mental health, each of us experiences consciously but also subconsciously in the living interior. We cannot completely influence the elimination of stress factors in the outdoor environment, but with the help of certain principles, we can create an interior that can minimize or almost completely eliminate these "starters" in our home. The theme transforms the metaphor of "Oasis" understood as a personal psychological cleansing in space, reflecting it with an emphasis on function, the transformation of the source of inspiration, the symbolism used in the author's final design. The aesthetic concept of the design serves as one of the strong guides for understanding the meaning of balance and harmony in the interior, which is ultimately reflected in the functioning of each of us. It is primarily a minimalist interior, inspired by selected principles excluded from Eastern Japanese and Asian culture blending into the modern "Western world."
