The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of storage and handling of hazardous substances. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the processing and evaluation of the possibilities of storage of hazardous substances in smaller operations and technological units. The bachelor thesis deals with the properties, classification and labeling of hazardous substances based on the analysis of literary sources. The work deals with 3 case studies and based of them are evaluated the warehouses of logistics parks, the warehouse of hazardous substances for the University of Dusseldorf and the warehouse of hazardous substances for the company Ecolab. For the storage of hazardous substances in such warehouses, it is advisable to use walk-through warehouses, shelving systems with built-in catch basins and safety cabinets. The work also includes individual designs and solutions for storage systems.
