The thesis has been elaborated with the topic Logistics in supply and inventory management in a crisis period. Its first part is a summary of basic starting points of the supply issue and its management. By the means of the scientific method called synthesis, available Slovak and foreign theoretical knowledge was summarised into one unit. In the analytical part, a case study was elaborated regarding inventory management in a specific enterprise with the aim to examine the process of material procurement and the impact of the crisis on the supply chain of the company caused by Covid-19. Having analysed the current condition and specifications of weaknesses, possible suggestions and enhancement methods were prepared in the field of material procurement and material flow management during the crisis period.
