The topic of this master thesis is the analysis of the perception of ecological innovations in terms of their position, development and perception of society at present, but also with a previous examination of their perception in Slovakia. The theoretical part of the work deals with the available knowledge about innovations in general, but mainly deals with knowledge about ecological innovations, their types, developments in the world but also in Slovakia. The practical part of the work is focused on the eco-innovation performance of the Slovak Republic and the analysis of the perception of ecological innovations from the customer's point of view through the Kano model. The results of the analyzes point to a low awareness of eco-innovations in Slovakia, but the positive thing is that awareness of them is rising compared to the previous research. For this reason, it is necessary to constantly raise awareness of the need for eco-innovation for their increasing implementation in practice.
