The diploma thesis deals with the design of a modular construction of a holiday house with the integration of selected elements of modern technology. The first theoretical part compares the modular structure with other types of structures and looking for the solution from the constructional point of view. The practical part of the thesis is followed by the design of the construction system. It includes the assessment according to applicable standards and a partial structural assessment on the basis of which it is possible to build a wooden building with the designed modular system. The thesis deals with a specific model project, where this type of construction can be moved. The second theoretical part is concerned with the current legislation of recreational facilities. The practical part also discusses the foundation of the building and the necessary technical and technological procedures based on standards and laws. The third, last part introduces modern technology. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and possibilities of application in recreational construction, which are applied in the practical part to the designed object.
