The main goal of the bachelor thesis was to map the occurrence of invasive plant species in the Kysuce region in the orographic units of the Turzovská vrchovina and Javorníky. We carried out field research in the vegetation period of 2020. We recorded the species that are listed in the documents according to the valid legislation in the Slovak Republic and according to the documents of the ŠOP SR. In total, we recorded four invasive herbaceous species according to decree no. 24/2003 coll. These are the Fallopia japonica, the Solidago canadensis, Heracleum mantegazzianum and the Impatienes glandulifera. We are a Solidago canadensis and a Heracleum mantegazzianum in terms of decree no. 450/2019 coll., which stipulates the conditions and methods of removal of invasive and non-native species, eliminated and removed. The output of the mapping was the creation of a map in a combination of ŠOP KIMS for the public and Google maps. In this application, we recorded the GPS coordinates of the site with the name of the invasive plant.
