The graduation theses deals with the topic: The influence of hole fillings on the solution of fire safety of buildings. The purpose of this work is to create a comprehensive view of the hole fillings in buildings and to point out their importance in the calculations of the solution of fire safety of buildings. In the theoretical part, the researched area is defined, the influence of openings on ventilation in case of fire and on distances is described, as well as on the results of the solution of fire safety of the building. In the practical part of the work are solved three alternatives of calculations in the selected building, the result of which are the values of the coefficient of ventilation, the calculated fire load and distances. The calculations are applied to specific fire sections with consideration of different area and different location of hole fillings in the perimeter walls. The first two alternatives are solved according to STN 92 0201-1 [10] and the third according to more accurate calculations according to V. Reichl and J. Dekánek. At the end of the work, the individual alternatives are evaluated and compared. Recommendations for practice are also set. A more accurate calculation, which takes into account the actual location of openings in the perimeter structures, leads to higher values of the ventilation coefficient and thus to a higher fire risk and it is appropriate to apply it in justified cases of constructions.
