The master thesis deals with the choice of a heating system that requires a renewable energy resource for the proposed public building. The introduction discusses the theoretical foundations which include an overview of selected renewable energy resources and heating systems for their use, thermal requirements for buildings and calculation principles. The public building was designed on the basis of the CLT panels to calculate the heat demand for heating and the choice of the heat source. The subject of further analysis is the combination of the heating system with the energy generation system and the determination of its efficiency. The conclusion presents the results of the analysis of comparing two options for the design of an energy source with regard to energy generation and consumption during the year.
