The aim of this bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with the bee tangle (Varroa destructor) itself, its origin and treatment options that are used against it. In the first chapter we will learn about the tick itself, its basic characteristics, origins and how it got to Europe and its bionomics. The second chapter focuses on the methods of protection against the mite itself and the treatment of bee colonies that are used in beekeeping. This third chapter, which is one of the most important, will address the importance of adhering to prescribed treatment conditions in the protection of colonies against ticks. The fourth chapter will discuss the optimal and minimal methods of treatment during the year, which can help to correct the removal of ticks during the year. The last chapter will show us the prognosis of bee colonies treatment against bee ticks.
