The theme of animal abusing and neglecting animal care is currently not only in Slovakia, but also widespread. In Bachelor work we discuss, what informations have the people about this issue and what are their opinions of abuing the animals. The aim of the thesis is to find out what causes and motives lead to the commitment of this crime from the aspect of forensic psychology. We are also investigating what are the most important causes and motives leading to the commitment of environmental crime from the aspect of forensic psychology. It submits us data obtained from the questionnaire survey on how the public is informed of the issue. It also clarifies which suitable precautions could be assisted in the fight against animal banging and neglect of animal care. The partial objective of the bachelor thesis is to inform about the state of environmental crime, especially not only in Slovakia.
