Young people's entrepreneurship is important for the health of any national economy. Entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly popular among young people. The development of Internet technologies brings many business opportunities. In order to maintain the long-term existence of enterprises that are passed down from generation to generation, it is also necessary to pay attention to the education of young people who will take over the enterprise once. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the involvement of the young generation in entrepreneurial activities in the practice of Slovak family enterprises with an emphasis on the succession process. Up-to-date information on the researched issue was obtained through the implementation of a questionnaire survey. From a thorough analysis of literary sources and the results of my own research, the bachelor thesis presents proposed measures that should help young entrepreneurs prepare and then manage the responsibility for running a family enterprise. In conclusion, the basic theoretical and practical benefits of the presented bachelor thesis are summarized.
