STAŠŠ, Martin: Influence of random logging on natural regeneration in coniferous coppices with dominant spruce representation. (Bachelor thesis) - Technical University in Zvolen. Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forest Cultivation. Supervisor: doc. Ing. Peter Jaloviar, PhD. Elected: TUZVO, 46 p. This bachelor thesis is divided into several chapters. The aim of this work was to compare the impact of random logging on natural regeneration in a selected coppice where we performed individual measurements. The first chapter dealt with the acquaintance and taxonomic classification of spruce, we pointed out its current spread and, last we listed all the widespread economic methods and procedures for growing spruce. On the field, we performed measurements on ten test plots where we determined the exact number and thickness of trees in d1.3 of the parent stand. During the subsequent growth, we were interested in the number and height of individual seedlings. We compared all measurements from the stand and included them in the results of the work, thanks to that we confirmed the importance of immediate processing of random mining and saving financial costs in the renewal of the coppice.
