KOMENDÁK, Matúš: The economic analysis of the beekeeping project in the region of Liptov. [Bachelor thesis]. – Technical University in Zvolen. Faculty of Forestry; Department of Economics and Management of Forestry. Supervisor’s name: prof. Ing. Ján Holécy, CSc. Professional qualification level: Bachelor. TU Zvolen, 2021. 46 p. The main goal of the bachelor thesis was the analysis of economic and natural conditions in the Liptov region. The work in the theoretical part focuses mainly on the approach and description of conditions for beekeeping. Natural conditions are characterized for a specific area of project implementation. The work also includes basic knowledge and procedures focused on the proper breeding and also the economic situation of beekeeping in Slovakia. The practical part is based on the compilation and evaluation of inputs to the project, which will determine the amount of capital investment. In connection with the entered data, we found out the amount of project costs and subsequently evaluated the physical outputs of the project. Based on the entered data, a cash-flow calculation was compiled for a project with a given number of beehives. Using profitability indicators, we determined the effectiveness of the investment in the project in three variants concerning the uncertainty of production. Given the results obtained, we can say that the project would be successful under all conditions of production and a capital investment in the project would be advantageous.
