Bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the influence of habitat and stand conditions on the capture of bark beetle species, specifically the bark beetle (IPS typographus) within the forest management of the Čierny Váh, in the context of the description of spruce bark beetle (Ips typographus) and its host species norway spruce (Picea abies). The information obtained of individual traps established in 2020 were processed and evaluated by statistical analysis. Furthermore, we also submitted a proposal for forestry operations, which could improve the health of area and eliminate the population dynamics of spruce bark beetle.
