Forest mapping finds application in various areas. The combination of mapping methods increases its accuracy, which is necessary especially when making Land Register maps. The final work divides the various types of maps used mainly in forestry for different purposes and uses. Along with the mapping, the real estate cadastre and the registration of land in it are also closely connected. The work is focused on land located in the forest environment, their discrepancy with the records kept in the real estate cadastre in comparison with their real state. Such areas are referred to as black and white areas. The work deals with the identification of such areas, programs and methods for their identification and the possibilities of their solution. To identify these such areas, the national forest inventory and monitoring deals indirectly.
