The theme of the bachelor thesis is the fire safety of non-productive buildings, namely medical facilities. There are higher requirements for the fire safety on the construction of medical buildings. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The first chapter summarizes the legislation and standards related to the fire safety valid in the Slovak republic. This section highlights the requirements that are necessary for the project documentation for PBS. The second chapter is focused on the methodology of the fire protection of buildings according to the decree no. 94/2004 Coll and relevant standards. The main objective of the practical part is to solve the fire safety of a particular medical facility.
